In the scenes when they are in the house, the sounds that will be used will be sounds of loud bangs, ghostly wind noises. However, we are not going to make it over the top with the sound as we want to make the film seem as real as possible.
The transition between the scenes will be smooth, as we do not want any jump cuts which will make the film look like it has not been edited properly.
Throughout the whole film there will be low key lighting, as this will make the perfect setting for the horror film and also make the audience feel like anything could jump out from the dark, at any time in the movie.
The location of the film will be in a house where the film will be shot will be in Handsworth, opposite a park.
The props that we will need that will be shown in the film will be a locket, fake blood and police tape.

You also need to consider your roles in more detail here.
So, the person responsible for camera work need to consider which type of shots and angles will be used for the different frames.
The person responsible for the editing needs to consider the transitions between each frame.
The person responsible for sound needs to consider the use of sound in each scene, and the person responsible for the miss en scene needs to consider the location, props and costumes for each frame. This will then need to be added to the storyboards.
You state that in one of the key scenes there will be a ghostly figure, but you need to consider how you are going to create this effect in more detail.
You need to consider the relationship between the locket and the abandoned house - not clear at the moment and needs more thought.

ReplyDeleteStill lacking detail with reference to props, aspects of miss en scene, sound and there is little evidence of editing between the scenes. Whoever is responsible for these areas needs to get this done please.
